The church is on the corner of New Haven Avenue and Beach 20th Street. IMPORTANT: As of July 2025, the Saturday 5 pm Vigil Mass will no longer be celebrated. Note: The Parish of St. Mary Star of the Sea and St. Gertrude comprises two worship sites in Far Rockaway, Queens: St. Gertrude Church (336 Beach 38th St.) and St. Mary Star of the Sea, which serves as the main church and parish office location.
