St. Mary became a Personal Parish in May 2020, dedicated to the Extraordinary form of the Mass. In 2021, it was elevated to a Diocesan Shrine. St. Mary is enclosed in the territory of the Parish of Christ the Good Shepherd, territorial Parish for the Cities of Oswego and Scriba.
