From La Grange, head southeast on Jefferson St. {Hwy. 77} for about 9 miles. Turn left onto FM 1383. Go for 3.5 miles. Turn right onto Mensik Rd., go 1k ft. Church is on the left, in the village of Ammansville. Note: St. John the Baptist, with its Mission of St. Wenceslaus (Holman), formed a cluster with the Parish of St. Rose of Lima (Schulenburg) and the Parish of St. Mary, Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Schulenburg/High Hill). The four Churches share the staff and a Parish Office located at St. Rose (1010 Lyons Ave., Schulenburg), the Main Church. Office Hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday through Thursday and 8am - 12 noon, Friday.
