Note: On December 2, 2023, by way of an "extinctive union," the former Parish of St. Gabriel the Archangel merged into St. Elizabeth Parish (Smethport), with St. Elizabeth Church serving as the parish church, St. Gabriel Church becoming a secondary mission church, St. Joseph Church (Mount Jewett), already a mission church of St. Elizabeth, becoming a secondary church - without mission status - where only occasional weekday worship, funerals, and weddings could be celebrated. Later, on March 10, 2025, St. Joseph was permanently closed.
