By the Martin Luther King Triangle. Parish Office Hours: Tuesday - Friday: 9am- 7pm. Saturday: 9am - 5pm. Sunday: 9am - 3pm. Close Mondays and Holidays. NOTE: In early 2007, the Parishes of St. Francis (1544 Shakespeare Ave) and Sacred Heart (1253 Shakespeare Ave) merged to form the parish of "Sacred Heart and St. Francis of Assisi" under the Archdiocese "Realignment Plan". Masses and other Sacraments continued to be celebrated on a regular basis at both churches. Sacred Heart became the Main Parish Church. In November 2018, due to the deterioration of the church building of St. Francis and lack of funds to restore it, was decided to closed down and desecrate the church; was later sold and demolished in 2019. Church records are preserved at Sacred Heart & St. Francis of Assisi Parish Church.
